The Gamma Phi chapter of Theta Xi has high standards for its members especially in our scholastic progress. To join the Gamma Phi chapter, freshmen coming directly out of high school must have at least a 3.0 or better to be pinned. Transfer students must have at least a 2.5 or better.
We require for any brother who did not make a 2.5 or better the previous semester to participate in a mandatory study sessions in the Gamma Phi house for 5 hours per week. After midterms, if the brother has above a 3.0, they can study on their own and be let out of the program. We have selected our Chapter Room to have quiet hours from 5pm to 9pm, Sunday through Thursday.
